1. Her head is not attached to her body (ex: 1st panel at 3:08)
2. Every video needs 10 Beyonce’s (ex: 1:58)
3. Her eyebrows are not attached to her face (ex: :47)
4. Everything from 1:21 – 1:24 is copied from me while drunk at Town
5. Everything from :29 – :31 will be my new move while drunk at Town
6. I cannot wait for “Love On Top”! Keyyyyy chaaaaanges!

Woah. So that just happened. I have so many things to say about this, but here are a few highlights.
From Josh:
1) I will be doing the dance she does from :50-1:03 allthetimeeverywhere.
2) The man’s face at 1:04 is priceless. He’s like, WTF Bey? Do I need to get your EpiPen again?
3) A lion. And two hyenas.
4) Nice use of the McQueen shoes although I would have liked to have seen the hyenas wear them. Always next time.
5) At 3:22 is one of the most hysterical things I’ve seen in a long time. She’s on her head rolling around in the sand like a little Beyb (get it?). Get out of the sand, girl! Mamma Knowles is gonna get mad if you get dirt in those tracks.
6) I expected nothing less.

Fact 1: Beyonce’s shoulders are in fact separate entities from the rest of her body.
Fact 2: Beyonce can harness the laws of gravity and hang upside like it was nothing.
Fact 3: Take note that is how you make music video.
The new Beyonce track has hit the interwebs, I have to thank Jon Ali for the track heads up. As for a review I am currently listening it to the second time and these are my thoughts. It reminds me of a certain Sugababes song of the same name; that was critically panned, but I loved. Drum line beats, super catchy hooks, and booty shakin’ beat. I am sure it’s track that will have all the girls rushing to the dance floor to shake their asses. It’s not a huge departure from her last album and tracks like Diva, but definitely something new for B.

The more I thought about this track and music in it, the more I have to realize that growing up in Washington, DC and around the musical horror that is Go-Go I have developed an appreciation for beats, drums and walls of sound. Having heard some extremely bad attempts at all of this I truly find myself enjoying it when it is done well. This isn’t the final version, but it’s still damn good. It may be a beat not everyone will love or know quite to do with it, but I most certainly do.
The move from 1:16 – 1:18 is what I will be doing from now on. Everywhere.
For the 3 people who haven’t seen it today, here is the 9 1/2 minute video for “Telephone”.
Things I know from watching this:
- good use of The Pussy Wagon from “Kill Bill”
- approximately three pounds of eye shadow were used in the filming
- the transformation of Beyonce into Tyra Banks is now complete
Thoughts?
Electrolightz previously worked with Lady Gaga on “Bad Romance”…not sure if you’ve heard that song before…and they’re at it again with “Telephone”. It’s not a far stretch from the original, however they’ve replaced Beyonce with a guy. I can’t figure out who it is but it proves to be a nice twist to the track. If anyone can find out who it is let me know, I’m over searching for a name. Thanks to Mark and Eric for bringing this back from Australia to share!
Update! Um, so Electrolightz just commented on my post (WHAT!?) answering my question to who is on the track, ” The singer on the track is Rami Dearest, and the rapper is Name Brand. They are the front men of the Electrolightz.” So there you have it. Sweet.

Lady Gaga and Beyonce (Lady Bebe) have collaborated to bring you two new songs. This was leaked yesterday, so I’m not sure if the track is complete as is or if it’ll be tweaked a bit for radio release. Either way, it’s a pretty wicked song. The bass is heavy, production is solid, and Beyonce nails her part. Can’t wait for the video! And speaking of video, Beyonce released a song called “Videophone” featuring Lady Gaga as well…I’ll post that on Monday for everyone (but this track is much better).
