To piggyback off of Wes’ post yesterday, here is another track from Crookers featuring the original Lady Gaga, Roisin Murphy. This song is just so cool. I’m not sure what to say about it…it’s completely all over the place, schizo pop at it’s finest. The song can be divided up into different sections but all have a similar theme running through which could be construed at the chorus. When the track hits 1:05 Roisin and company completely shift and lose it, it’s the coolest thing I’ve heard in a long time. I thought of this song being played during a runway show, but apparently Viktor & Rolf beat me to it. Anyway, this song may be a bit “out there” for some people but if you like this type of music it’s a must have for your collection. Enjoy!

Wow, been sitting on this one for some time now. Lost in the flurry of summer fun, work craziness and God knows what else since May.

All-star Producer/DJ duo ‘Crookers‘ have put together an album rightfully titled “Tons of Friends”. On it you will find at least a dozen different artists lending talent to their debut album of original work. My favorite has to be the collaboration with French electro-pop star Yelle entitled ‘Cooler Couleur’. Full disclosure I am a HUGE Yelle fan and would probably like any track including her.
