To close out the work week I’m bringing you a great cover of my favorite KiD CuDi song, “Pursuit of Happiness”. She does an amazing job here (no doubt the tequila shot helped out a bit) with crystal clear vocals and a great interpretation. She owns the song, really gets into it and makes it sound like she understands what is being said. I don’t need much else from a cover. And it has one of my favorite lyrics of the year, “Everything that shines ain’t always gonna be gold | I’ll be fine once I get it | I’ll be good”. Well, this shiny song is definitely gold.
