Kylie’s new video for ‘All the Lovers’ premiered last night at 12am London time. Kylie looks great, and scantly clad pretty people never hurts a music video’s appeal

Also hitting the interwebs this morning is the new music video for Kelly Rowland’s big dance hit ‘Commander’. I like the campy video game feel of the video, it is like Mortal Kombat set to a better beat. And Kelly looks amazing.

Lada Gaga – Telephone (feat. Beyonce video)

For the 3 people who haven’t seen it today, here is the 9 1/2 minute video for “Telephone”.
Things I know from watching this:
- good use of The Pussy Wagon from “Kill Bill”
- approximately three pounds of eye shadow were used in the filming
- the transformation of Beyonce into Tyra Banks is now complete

Here is the uber cute High School Musical/Glee themed She & Him video for “In the Sun”. My love for Zooey Deschanel grows by the day and I want her to be my best friend. I also want to be in a choreographed group dance in a public place. Let’s try and make that happen.

Coldplay – Strawberry Swing video

I wouldn’t normally post videos on here, but for this song I’ll make an exception. If you read my Top of 2008 list you saw that “Strawberry Swing” was on there. Coldplay finally made it into a video and, wow, it’s amazing. I’ve seen this stop-action technique used before and have thought it was pretty cool, but I’ve never seen it used to such a degree as they’ve done here. It is absolutely mind numbing how they have managed to turn an ordinary piece of ground into a masterpiece. And props to Chris Martin for being so physically involved in the process, it couldn’t have been easy. You can read more about the creative process on their website. Hopefully this will inspire other artists to think outside the box a bit more, as this will be hard to beat.
